As a College student, I’ve learned that basically…. THE WORK NEVER STOPS. But I’m cool with that. Gotta work hard everyday.

Education In America

A student raises his/her hand and wants to ask a question on a subject in class. The question is something derived from a lesson the child learned in their English class. The question is as follows: Ms. Robertson what can I do to help my mother if she can’t read ? Hearing this question any teacher would be confused on what to say, but then again what can be said ? People wonder why kids in America nowadays aren’t as smart as other countries around the world. One reason can be attributed to the lack of help some parents give their children.
A adolescent can’t just be expected to be great in school automatically as if they are fresh out the womb. It takes commitment from the parents in the household to help the young ones and push them to want to be great in everything they do, including school. Show them that a quality education can take them as far as they want to go in life at a young age. Parents should try and motivate the kids to strive to be at the top of their class. All these things can greatly enhance the chance of a young student in elementary, middle, and even high school achieve the highest standards and not just be content with the status quo.
Teachers are another intricately important part of the puzzle in which can help students achieve to greater lengths. We all know teachers and students share a special bond which only they share between each other. The teacher’s job is to TEACH, while the student is there to LEARN and comprehend any subject at hand depending on the class. Some teachers get into teaching for ALL the WRONG reasons. They feel that a paycheck is more important than a child passing a chemistry class. For all they care it is just another day, to another week, to another year that they do the same dull and plain thing. This is a major detriment to the educational growth of students who want to try all move on to the next grade and continue to be great in their studies throughout school. Then again there are marvelous instructors who care with their whole heart in seeing a young man or woman succeed in today’s world as well as school itself. There just needs to be a better balance of caring teachers instead of the careless instructors.
Education is a vital part in success in anything that one person can do in today’s world. Let’s make sure that the children of this generation and the ones in the future will have better opportunities and will set standards so high they will be cloud surfing for excellence.
Sincerely, Justin
America is Lazy…….

America the beautiful and lazy, hold on now those aren’t the words but it would seem appropriate in America today as America is becoming a nation of dependent and nonchalant individuals who feel that they are entitled to any and everything in life.
True enough we as Americans have certain rights and are allowed some freedoms, but having the ideal that everything must be tailored to your liking wont get you too far in today’s world. People need to stop complaining about what they don’t have and start working to obtain the items that they want.
Sincerely, J.Brown
