What’s your motivation ?

When you go through life without a care in the world, do you ever stop just for a moment to think, what is my motivation in life ? Is it to provide for my family ? Is it to impress my parents to prove them they where wrong about me ? Or is it something much simpler, just to be a success in life. All these things have crossed my mind at one point in time in my life. Maybe it has crossed yours before reading this.
A large multitude of people in today’s world get their motivational fuel by doubters or commonly called “Haters”. People feel that they have to shut up the non-believers and show them what they are capable of. Others find motivation through their own goals in life. Some goals may be to be successful, or to be an inspiration to others. Motivation goes full circle, in the fact that a large majority of Americans and people all over the world want to be educated, graduate from college, find a good paying job, find the man or woman of their dreams and raise a family. Sounds simple right, but that’s not always the case. Some individuals can’t always have things happen a certain way that will be tailored to their liking. If this is the case, some people’s motivation may only be to hope for better days. That one day they will be able to achieve a better life for themselves and the people who mean the most to them.
A common response for typical person when asked about motivation is the motivation to earn, and attain money. Currency is the great evaluator of one’s wealth and character in the public eye, but that is definitely not the case. Money is only one part of how someone is judged. But one thing is that having money keeps the bills paid, it keeps a roof over one’s head and food to eat. Money is a good thing to be motivated by, but don’t let it be the ONLY thing that your motivated by.
To the main point I want to make is that, whatever your motivation is, follow it to your hearts content. If it is to raise your children the right way, then do that. If it is to fulfill your life’s meaning in changing the world for the better, please by all means have at it. Motivation comes in all shapes, sizes, forms, religions, creeds, etc. Just don’t go through life not knowing what your going to do from a day to day basis, have a plan. Plan what you want to achieve for the future and execute it to the best of your ability. Go and see what the future has in store for you and what you may be facing, but remember to have some type of motivation.
Sincerely, Justin
